Claude says:Coldplay's fourth album arrived in June 2008 with Brian Eno pushing them into new territory — he insisted every song sound different, which meant no Ken Nelson and a sprawl of textures from Jon Hopkins, Rik Simpson, and Markus Dravs. You grabbed it that September and hammered it through 2010, with "Strawberry Swing" becoming the keeper alongside "Lost!" and "Violet Hill." It faded for years but keeps circling back — light doses in 2021, again in 2024, proof that Eno's mandate to diversify left enough corners worth revisiting.
