Claude says:This is the 2013 debut from the LA duo who met on Craigslist as jingle writers, and "Safe and Sound" — written before they'd even settled on the band name — became a slow-burn hit that peaked two years after its release. You had a couple of stray spins back in 2013 and 2019 that went nowhere, but it finally clicked for you in late 2024, a full eleven years after release, mostly for "Safe and Sound" and "Kangaroo Court."
