Claude says:Desire came out of the Rolling Thunder Revue's loose chemistry — Dylan co-wrote most of it with Jacques Levy, turned a few songs into long story-driven arguments (the 11-minute "Joey" about gangster Joey Gallo, "Hurricane" about boxer Rubin Carter's allegedly rigged murder case), and leaned on Emmylou Harris and Ronee Blakley for backing vocals. You've barely played it — just three times since 2019 — but "Hurricane" and "One More Cup of Coffee" are the tracks that register.
