Claude says:Andrew Davie and Kevin Jones built Bear's Den as a folk-rock project with real sweep — voices that harmonize like family, banjos that don't feel precious, and a knack for turning personal loss into something communal. This second album leans into that ache with layered guitars and choruses built for festival fields, balancing intimacy with anthemic lift. You picked it up the month it dropped in 2016 and gave it heavy play that summer, then kept coming back in waves — "Emeralds" and the title track still hit years later, and you're still playing it.
