Claude says:Andrew Davie and Kevin Jones started Bear's Den in London after their previous band Cherbourg dissolved, naming themselves after a Scottish town where Davie first wrote songs. This early acoustic track has the hushed, campfire intimacy of their folk roots — spare guitar, close-harmony vocals, and the kind of plainspoken sorrow that made them Communion Records mainstays. You played it a handful of times across late 2021 into early 2022, mostly the title track itself, but it never quite stuck.
